Government collections on criminal, civil cases up 30% for 2010
Federal prosecutors nationwide were busy collecting debts this past year, raking in a record $ 6.68 billion in criminal and civil collections in 2010, compared to $ 4.6 billion in 2009, U.S. Attorney Barbara McQuade announced today.
